Like the other knives in this collection, the slicing knife features the durable VG10 super steel with 65 layers and a Damascus pattern on the side of the blade.
What sets this knife apart is the blade, although long, is not very wide and has an extremely thin profile, making it ideal for slicing through varied ingredients. It does, however, still play with the Western style cooking by featuring a slightly thicker tip to prevent slipping.
