Masaharu Morimoto is a name to be reckoned with. With two Iron Chef TV appearances, multiple restaurant rewards, including a Michelin Star, and many other accomplishments, Morimoto has earned himself quite the reputation in the fine dining industry. But no great chef is complete without his professional knife set. As the main tool in hand, Chef Masaharu Morimoto would not be associated with just any set of knives. In fact, professional knife makers, Miyabi knives, partnered with Morimoto to create a line of kitchen knives called the Miyabo Morimoto Edition.
Chef Morimoto knives are designed and manufactured right in his home country of Japan and represent some of the most technologically advanced and highest quality cutlery available on the market today. What’s more is the Miyabi factory is located in Seki, Japan, an area known for sword and knife manufacturing for more than 800 years.
While the Miyabi Morimoto Edition ranges from steak knives, slicing knives, and even complete knife sets, these are what are considered to be the most sought after knives in the collection as well as popular favorites amongst Chef Morimoto as well as many other celebrity chef’s. In fact, even professional chef Nobu Matsuhisa is known to prefer these line of knives over any other.
